14 ounce package Kroger thinly sliced beef
salt and pepper, to taste
tsp garlic powder
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise, some of bread in middle removed to make a boat
¼ cup mayonnaise
8 ounces Provolone cheese, sliced
Season beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder. heat oil in pan…cook meet until browned, remove to cutting board. When cool enough to work with coarsely chop beef. Melt butter in pan and add veggies. Cook til crisp tender. Return meet to pan and mix with veggies. Spread mayo onto both pieces of bread, add layer of cheese to bread. spoon meat mixture into bread boats, top with cheese. Bake 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees until cheese begins to brown slightly. Let stand 5 minutes, slice into 2 inch pieces.
