Dick Daniels has been Q99’s Morning host for over 30 years! He and David Page formed Q99’s top rated “Dick & Dave” Morning Show!
Dick has 2 grown children that still live in the area. He adores his 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. When not golfing or trying out a new recipe, you’ll likely find him cycling or out on the boat at Smith Mountain Lake! Dick also loves the Redskins and Hokies!
Dick & Dave stand firmly behind community events like their radiothon “Dick & Dave’s Miracle Day for Children”, which has raised over $2 million dollars for our local Children’s Miracle Network!
Dick’s favorite part of the morning show is “Feel Good on the 50s”, “Feed Dave Thursdays” and “No Way News!”
Dick is the current holder of the Gold Award for “Most Fun on the Radio” as voted by the readers of The Roanoker Magazine. “Dick & Dave” have also been honored numerous times by Lynchburg’s City Magazine and Lynchburg Living.
David Page
David Page has been with WSLQ – Q99 for 20 years. He and his morning partner, Dick Daniels, are close friends on and off air, and are behind great community events like Dick and Dave’s Miracle Day for Children’s Miracle Network.
Dave and his wife Michele have been married over 30 years and have one daughter, Kassidy, who graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015.
“Dick & Dave” have been honored numerous times in reader-voted contests of The Roanoker Magazine, as well as Lynchburg’s City Magazine and Lynchburg Living. A native of Los Angeles, Dave loves reading, golf, his Los Angeles Dodgers, and spending time with Penelope, his rescue Beagle.
Dick & Dave worked together from 1993 to 1995 when Dave left for Raleigh. But Dave returned in 2000 to join Dick on Q99’s Morning Show, weekday mornings from 5:30am til 10am. Dick has been host of the Morning Show since 1989! Wake up with the best mix of music, comedy, information and fun!
