4 eggs
2 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
4 ripe bananas, mashed with a fork
4 cups cubed french bread
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
In large bowl, mix well: first 7 ingredients. stir in bread cubes, let soak 5 minutes. stir in chocolate chips. pour into greased baking dish. bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees until knife comes out of center clean. serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
