The Roanoke Valley SPCA says there’s still time to take advantage of a scary good deal.
For the past month, the Roanoke Valley SPCA has been waving adoption fees at their pop-up adoption events. On the heels of the SPAYghetti event earlier this week, the organization has decided to continue to waive adoption fees through Halloween weekend.
Julie Rickmond, Marketing and Communications Director for the Organization, says this has been made possible through the support of generous sponsors, “There’s no tricks here, just treats! We are waiving all adoption fees for all pets: that includes puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs. And that is thanks to a couple different grants from the ASPCA and Subaru Loves Pets, and then also the ASPCA’s Rescue Effect grant.”
Rickmond says she hopes the waived fees will make it even easier to connect pets with their forever homes.
