8 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small yellow onion, chopped fine
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
2-3 cooked burgers, crumbled
1/4 cup dry red wine
One 28-ounce can crushed or pureed tomatoes
1 tablespoon butter
dry italian seasoning
pinch red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp sugar
6 large, fresh basil leaves, torn
Heat the olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, and saute until lightly golden, 2 to 3 minutes, add garlic and cook one more minute. Add the meat and red wine, cook 2-3 minutes, stir in tomatoes, butter, spices and sugar. Bring to a boil. Stir in the basil leaves. Reduce the heat to low, and cook for 20 minutes. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, and toss well to coat.
