From Roanoke Regional Airport: In appreciation and gratitude for Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport federal employees who continue to serve the flying public with dedication during the government shutdown, the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission has launched a Care Cupboard.
The cupboard, located on the first floor of the Terminal, is open to all ROA federal staff. It is stocked with non-perishable items, household items, toiletries, and more, and is available to these employees at no charge.
Donations
The Airport Commission welcomes donations for the Care Cupboard and ROA federal employees.
Gift cards — food/grocery/gas Non-perishable food or drink, canned, and sealed items
Household items: Toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, cleaning products, etc.
Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, hair products, soap, body wash, deodorant, feminine products, etc.
Baby items: Diapers, formula, wipes, pouches, etc.
Items can be dropped off at the Airport at the following locations:
Terminal Manager’s Office next to Baggage Claim 2 (Monday — Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Care Cupboard across from Door 4 (Monday — Friday, 11 a.m. — 1:30)
